Microsoft has introduced a new version of windows which is called Windows 10 which has many new features compared to Windows 8.1. 2. Start Menu:
A new sleek and transparent version of Start Menu has been introduced now, making navigating much easier now. In the earlier version of Windows 8 controls like restart and shutdown were set in a place which was hard to find on the settings pane making it difficult for beginners. Power buttons are now placed near the start menu. While retaining the live tiles of the older versions they are shifted to the side without taking up the entire screen. Like the older versions Modern apps can continue using live tiles for presenting information like weather alerts, news and email notifications etc. However, the tile area cannot be hidden completely. Certain devices still retain the full screen Start menu which is tile based.
3. Better Multitasking:
Excellent multitasking has been a hallmark of Microsoft, with the introduction of snappable windows in Windows 7 things got better and with the introduction of Windows 10 they have made it much better. Just like any other software the desktop can load apps directly, through a Snap Assist which can also snap together. The Desk top mode in Windows 10 allows modern apps to open its individual window along with desk top applications. Windows 10 has a number of apps like music management, photos and also contacts emails and maps. Irrespective of whichever device you run them on the apps will feel and look the same. A unique form of synchronization called one drive permits you to back up important files without worrying about it.
4. Cross level Cortana Function
Though the Cortana was first introduced in Windows 8 series it is installed in Windows 10 too. All search functions are controlled by Cortana, which works just like before. Just hitting the return switch desktop applications and apps will come on the lists top. Wherever you are you will be able to find files and set reminders as Cortina will look across your OneDrive storage and devices.
5. Web Browser form Microsoft
The new browser called Microsoft Edge is the latest introduction of Microsoft which is a new invention which has done away with the old Internet Explorer. It runs on a new technology resulting in quick web browsing while still retaining a part of its old search engine in case it comes across a system which is incompatible with its new system. Many new features have been incorporated in Windows 10, articles can be saved on its Reading Mode , comments or written scribbles can be shared with your friends. These saved pages c are in OneDrive so they can be easily accessed from all drives. In built security systems makes it difficult for hackers.
